Fourth of July: Ozona Parade & Fireworks Saturday, June 29

Whoo hoo! It is time to celebrate the Fourth of July Ozona style! The festivities will actually be on June 29. You'll see plenty of golf carts, bicycles, pets, parents and kids in Ozona... all adorned in red, white and blue!

Attention Palm Harbor!

It's time to dust off your golf carts and bicycles for Ozona's 5th Annual Independence Day Parade.

The parade will kick off the community's annual Independence Day festivities, which will be held Saturday, June 29, 2013.

Everyone is invited to participate in the parade to celebrate the Fourth of July. No worries if you don't want to partake, it's a lot of fun to stand on the sidelines and watch all of the bikes and golf carts adorned with patriotic decorations.

Later Saturday evening, the public is also invited to attend Ozona's annual fireworks celebration over Lundren Cove.

Ozona 5th Annual Independence Day Celebration

  • When: Saturday, June 29, 2013
  • Admission: Both events are free
  • Attire: Red, white and blue encouraged to celebrate the 4th of July!
  • Ozona Community Parade: Begins at 9 a.m. Participants should gather at the corner of Tampa Road and Orange Street. Patriotically-decorated golf carts and bicycles are encouraged. Pets are welcome.
  • Ozona Fireworks Show: Begins at 9 p.m. over Lundren Cove. Show is about 15-minutes long and can be seen from many streets in Ozona and Crystal Beach.
