Palm Harbor Firefighters Surprise Resident On 100th Birthday

On Thursday, Palm Harbor firefighters responded to an emergency call of a different kind than they usually receive.

PALM HARBOR, FL — On Thursday, Palm Harbor firefighters responded to an emergency call of a different kind than they usually receive.

According to Palm Harbor Fire Rescue, firefighters Paul Holmes ad Riley Botts learned that resident Lenore "Lee" Crowley was turning 100 years old but the coronavirus pandemic was preventing her from having a big celebration with family and friends.

So the firefighters decided to surprise her with flowers and a chocolate cake.
