Palm Harbor Lady Hurricanes Lose Regional Final
The Lady Hurricanes remained scoreless against Orlando's Timber Creek Wolves until the third inning of the regional playoffs Friday, when two players crossed home plate.
The Palm Harbor University High Lady Hurricanes softball team ended its 2013 season with a 12-to-3 loss to Orlando's Timber Creek Wolves during the class 8A finals Friday evening.
Timber Creek scored three runs each in the first, second, sixth and seventh innings, for a final score of 12.
The Lady Hurricanes remained scoreless until the third inning when two players crossed home plate. They did not score again until the final inning.

"They beat us. We couldn't come back from the six to zero runs the first few innings," said Lady Hurricanes Head Coach Kerry Katchuk shortly after the game.
The Lady Hurricanes earned a spot in the regional finals by winning Plant City's Durant High in semi-final play Wednesday.
