You can see how the parking area is taking shape in these photos that were taken Friday.
Construction workers told us that if the weather cooperates, the new parking area could be completed as early as Monday, Aug. 5.
They also said the new parking area will have 20 spaces. The new lot is located on the east side of the library.
The drive- through book drop is temporarily closed during construction, but will reopen the parking lot is completed.
The project was originally slated to be finished in mid-August.
