Man Hit Elderly Person for 'Good Luck,' Deputies Say
Jack Theoharris, 37, of Palm Harbor, is accused of striking the victim once on the right side of the head, once on the left and then on the top of the head. Pinellas deputies say he told the victim that third strike was "one for good luck."

A Palm Harbor man faces a felony battery charge after deputies say he hit an elderly person three times in the head.
Jack Theoharris, 37 ,is charged with felony battery on a person 65 years of age or older.Â
The incident happened April 15 when Theoharris was helping the elderly person get dressed for a doctor's appointment, an arrest affidavit said.

Theoharris "struck the victim three times in the head for no apparent reason other than being angry that he had to help the victim get dressed," the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office report said.
Theoharris is said to have struck the victim once on the right side of the head, once on the left and then on the top of the head. During the third strike he said "One for good luck," according to the report.

Deputies say Theoharris admitted to "tapping" the victim on the head.
He was booked into the Pinellas County Jail and was released after posting $10,000 bond.
