Palm Harbor Man Charged With 20 Counts Of Possessing Child Porn

Detectives received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and were led to Gordon Aber, 72.

PALM HARBOR, FL — A 72-year-old Palm Harbor man has been charged with 20 counts of possession of child pornography.

Detectives began their investigation after receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and were led to Gordon Aber of Jasmine Way in Palm Harbor.

On Tuesday at 4:28 p.m., detectives served a search warrant for Aber's home and electronic devices, and uncovered multiple images of child pornography.

During an interview with detectives, Aber admitted the child pornography found on his electronic devices belonged to him. Aber was arrested and transported to the Pinellas County Jail.
