Palm Harbor Man Dies On Christmas Eve While Crossing Road
A Palm Harbor man lost his life on Christmas Eve when he was struck by a car while crossing Palm Harbor Boulevard.

PALM HARBOR, FL — A Palm Harbor man lost his life on Christmas Eve when he was struck by a car while crossing Palm Harbor Boulevard.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Mark D. MacDonald, 59, was crossing Palm Harbor Boulevard just south of Maryland Avenue just after 8 p.m. when he walked into the path of a Hyundai Genesis headed north.
Troopers said McDonald was not in the crosswalk at the time.

He was taken to the AdventHealth Palm Harbor ER where he died.
Troopers say rain and McDonald's dark clothing prevented the driver of the Genesis from seeing him until it was too late.
