Palm Harbor Univ. High Students Compete in Orlando

21 members of PHUH's Future Business Leaders of America will compete in the FBLA State Conference this weekend.

Earlier this week, we told you about how Palm Harbor University High's vocal group the "After School Specials" competed in New York City.

Now, another talented group of students from Palm Harbor University High (PHUH) are headed out of town for a competition. 21 members of PHUH's Future Business Leaders of America will compete in the FBLA State Conference in Orlando this weekend.

PHUH-FBLA Advisor Kevin Schachter will be accompanying the group. He has nothing but praise for his students.

"They're very good. A majority are in the International Baccalaureate Program. All are very talented in their area," said Schachter.

The teens will participate business-related competitive events during the three-day conference. Competition categories include desktop publishing, accounting, business planning, word processing, presentations and impromptu speaking.
