Police canines were honored during a special memorial service Tuesday at the Curlew Hills Memory Gardens Pet Cemetery in Palm Harbor.

Pinellas County Sheriff's Deputies and Clearwater Police Officers attended the May 7 ceremony with their police dogs. The service was open to the public.
