PHOTOS: Parrot Heads Flock to Palm Harbor for Bash
Parrots were the accessory of choice for people, dogs and even motorcycles at the 12th annual Parrot Head Party Saturday in Palm Harbor's Historic District.
Parrot Heads flocked to Palm Harbor's Historic District for the 12th annual Parrot Head Party on Saturday, June 1.
People from all over the country attend the tropical-themed festival which is popular with fans of singer Jimmy Buffet.
This year's party featured more than 60 vendors, many were from the Tampa Bay area including Palm Harbor's Italian Angels Motorcycle Brotherhood who have participated in the event for the last ten years. The Italian Angels sold sausage sandwiches and t-shirts with their logo.

Palm Harbor's Nationwide Title Clearing sponsored a kids' craft booth, where kids (and adults!) got to make fun "I love Palm Harbor Hats" using recycled materials.
Felice Italian Deli in Clearwater, which recently won the 2012-13 Winter Business Beautification Recognition Award from the Clearwater Chamber of Commerce, sold tasty goodies at its booth.

The Parrot Head Party was a free event sponsored by the non-profit organization Old Palm Harbor Main Street. Proceeds from the event benefit Old Palm Harbor Main Street.
