Pinellas Sheriff Arrest Homicide Victim's Husband

Pinellas County sheriff's detectives have arrested an Oldsmar man in connection with the homicide of his wife Sunday. ​

OLDSMAR, FL — Pinellas County sheriff's detectives have arrested an Oldsmar man in connection with the homicide of his wife Sunday.

According to investigators, deputies were sent to 1707 Azalea Court in Oldsmar to speak with 47-year-old Lynn Dinkins. When they arrived, deputies found Dinkins dead inside her home.

Detectives tracked down Dinkins's husband, 52-year-old Robbie Dinkins driving his Hyundai Sonata at the Wawa at Belcher and Gulf to Bay Boulevard at about 10:20 a.m. Monday.

During an interview with detectives, Dinkins said her was arguing with his wife over infidelity. Dinkins said the argument became heated and he stabbed his wife multiple times.

Dinkins was charged with second-degree murder and taken to the Pinellas County Jail.
