Angelica Hall & Shay Lydon Services This Weekend

Memorial services will be held this weekend for two Palm Harbor residents who died as a result of injuries they suffered in a motorcycle crash last week.

Angelica Hall, 18 was killed in an motorcycle accident on May 17 in Clearwater. Her friend, Shay Lydon, 20, was driving the motorcycle. He died from his injuries Monday .

A service for Angelica Hall, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 26 at the in Palm Harbor. A reception will be held at Crossroads Baptist Church after the service, according to Sr. Pastor Dave Madasz. Crossroads Baptist Church is located at 2276 Curlew Rd., which is between Belcher Rd. and U.S. 19 in Palm Harbor (727) 786-8518.

A service for Shay Lydon will be held from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday May 27 at shelter #3 at A.L. Anderson Park in Tarpon Springs, according to a relative's Facebook page. 

"Shay wanted a party, so shorts and flip flops requested and black is not necessary. Very casual. Food served. We will be celebrating his life and what he meant to all of us. There will be a period of 'open mike' time to share a story about Shay for any that want. We encourage all to share something. Please feel free to let anyone know that is interested in coming to the service that wants to share in the memory of Shay.

Please also respond with a quick RSVP. My dad is in the process of setting up a scholarship fund in Shay's name and request that in lieu of flowers - please make donations to that endeavor.
