1) 4-Car Crash Closes Northbound U.S. 19 for 2 Hours
Florida Highway Patrol investigators say Axios A. Kazouris, 30, crashed into three other vehicles after attempted to make a u-turn by driving over the grassy median just north of Nebraska Avenue Wednesday afternoon.

Two East Lake Fire lieutenants and a fire commissioner are involved in an assortment of accusations against each other that includes racist text messages, discriminatory behavior and Nazi salutes.

"They said the gator was snapping at cars in front of the dentist office," said Pinellas County Sheriff's Office Spokesperson Cristen Rensel, referring to the person who called 911 early Tuesday morning.
4) Toddler Injured in Lawn Mower Accident Going Home This Weekend
Ireland Nugent, the spunky Palm Harbor toddler whose ankles were severed in a freak lawn mower accident on April 10, is scheduled to be released from the hospital this weekend.
5) Pedestrian Struck on Alt. U.S. 19
Amanda Chakos, 28, is in critical condition after she was struck while trying to cross Alt. U.S. 19 in Palm Harbor late Saturday. Chakos was thrown into a second pedestrian, who was also injured, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
