This Is Florida's Prettiest Town, Architectural Digest Says

Architectural Digest has picked Florida's prettiest town. Can you guess the town?

Seaside is the state's prettiest town, a highly regarded magazine has decided.
Architectural Digest magazine, in a new feature, has named the town as the prettiest in all of Florida. The piece, which picks the prettiest town in every U.S. state, was published July 16.

"This colorful town along the Gulf of Mexico was a location for the 1998 movie The Truman Show. Seaside—one of the country’s first New Urbanism communities—is filled with candy-color cottages," the magazine said.

In Seaside, striking pavilions mark the access points to the beach. There is a town center with shops and restaurants. Grayton Beach State Park, located just west of town, has trails and a coastal dune lake.
