Easter Egg Hunts Around the Miami Area

This is your last chance to channel your inner Sherlock Holmes at multiple Easter egg hunts around the Miami area.

HIALEAH, FL — There's still time to channel your inner Sherlock Holmes and look for Easter eggs with your kids on Easter Sunday. Patch found hunt events at the Seaquarium and Marlins Park.

The Bunny Palooza at Miami Seaquarium began on Friday. It lays claim to the largest Easter parade in South Florida, continuous Easter egg hunts, daily visits from the Easter Bunny plus five acres of bounce houses, slides and rides, an all new kids foam zone plus all of the regular attractions.

Patch found one offer for tickets as low as $24.75 for adults or children ages three to nine.

The Miami Marlins will host an Easter Egg hunt before the Fish take on the New York Mets at 1:10 p.m.

You don't need a ticket to participate in the hunt but get to Marlins Park early since the hunt takes place before the game.

Registration for the Easter egg hunt starts at 11:30 a.m. on the West Plaza outside Marlins Park. Children will receive wristbands based on their age. But an adult will be asked to sign a waiver.

The event is open to children ages 10 and under, who will also be able to take a photo with the Easter Bunny between noon and 1 p.m.

Kids can redeem their plastic eggs for candy, according to a Marlins representative.
