Crane Topples Over On 2 Lauderhill Homes
A crane collapsed on 2 homes Wednesday afternoon in Lauderhill but no one was seriously injured, according to first responders.

LAUDERDHILL, FL — A crane toppled over on multiple homes Wednesday afternoon in Lauderhill, according to first responders. No one was injured. A spokesman for Florida Power and Light said a contractor was installing power poles at the time of the incident.
"We are aware of a serious incident that happened in Lauderhill earlier today," said FPL's Richard Beltran.
"Unfortunately, a crane operated by a contractor tipped over onto two homes while installing power poles," Beltran told Patch. "We are unable to provide any further information on this incident."

Lauderhill Fire Rescue officials said first responders checked the area for possible victims and asked pedestrians and motorists to avoid the area for a time in the 4300 block of NW 11 Street.
"Simply incredible that nobody was seriously injured today," Lauderhill Fire Rescue officials explained.
