Dangling Workman Rescued From Kendall Office Building

KENDALL, FL — First responders rescued a workman Thursday who was seen dangling from a four-story office building in Kendall. The incident occurred shortly after 11:30 a.m. at 1140 N. Kendall Drive, according to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue.
An agency spokesperson said that first responders initially received a call of a person hanging from a four-story window sill.

"Upon arrival, it was a tricky task to maneuver the platform truck through the parking lot in order to gain access to the patient due to the parked cars surrounding the area," the spokesperson said.
"MDFR quickly reversed the platform in order to gain access to the patient by placing its ladder and bucket below the window sill and proceeded with the rescue," the spokesperson explained. "The patient was brought into the bucket of the platform truck and safely lowered to the ground."

The man was taken to a local hospital, the spokesperson added.
