Holy Guacamole: Chipotle Giving Away Free Guac On Tuesday

PINECREST, FL — Holy guacomole: Chipotle is giving away free guac on Tuesday. July 31 is National Avocado Day and Chipotle is celebrating by giving its customers some creamy, green goodness for free. You must place your order through the Chipotle app or through the website to score the deal.

"Our fresh, homemade guacamole has a massive fan following," explained Chris Brandt, chief marketing officer at Chipotle. "We want to show our love for the avocado and reward our customers' guac obsession. Plus, it's a major bonus that you can skip the line when you order ahead with our app or at chipotle.com."

Use the 7-digit code AVOCADO when placing your order and you will get guacamole on your entree, a free side of guacamole or a regular order of chips and guacamole with the purchase of any burrito, bowl, salad or tacos.

After selecting your entree, you can decide whether you want the free guacamole as an add-on, side item or in a regular order of chips and guac.

The offer is valid from open to close on Tuesday at all participating Chipotle restaurants in Florida and the U.S.

Just remember to place your order through the Chipotle app or Chipotle.com. The deal is not valid for in-restaurant orders.

Here's how to place your order through the app:

1. Log in or create an account on the Chipotle Mobile App or visit order.chipotle.com
2. Order an entrée and guac however you want it: Guac on your entrée or a side of Guac or a regular order of Chips & Guac.
3. Click “View or Redeem Offers” and select “Add an Offer”
4. Enter the 7-digit offer code AVOCADO and proceed to checkout.
5. Enjoy your free guacomole.
