Police issued a traffic alert for motorists in the village of Pinecrest on Thursday.
PINECREST, FL — Police issued a traffic alert for motorists in the village of Pinecrest on Thursday. Pinecrest police warned motorists that the northbound lanes of South Dixie Highway were closed at 88 Street. Police said the closure was the result of a car fire.
Traffic reopened shortly before 8:30 p.m.. The alert was issued at the start of Thursday's evening rush hour.
