Bayway Bridge to Close Friday

The eastbound lanes of the Pinellas Bayway Bridge will be closed from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Friday, according to the city of St. Pete Beach. 

Friday, the bridge will be closing for concrete placement, weather permitting.

According to the city, all emergency vehicles will be directed through the work zone if needed during the detour.

All other vehicles, the city said, will be detoured to Corey Causeway.  

In the event of inclement weather, the closure dates may be adjusted accordingly.
