License-Free Fishing: The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is waiving the saltwater fishing license requirement for all recreational anglers - residents and visitors - on Sunday, September 1.

‘World’s Largest Food Truck Rally’: Enjoy live entertainment and plenty of food as dozens of food trucks rally at the Florida State Fairgrounds, 4800 U.S. 301, on Saturday, Aug. 31. The event begins at 11 a.m. and runs through 8 p.m. About 15 bands are expected to play and organizers are shooting for 100 food trucks. Find out more on South Tampa Patch.
