Cold Spring Break Weather Hurting Beach Businesses?

Business owners along the beaches are saying the cold weather is hurting business during spring break.

Is the unseasonably cold spring break weather hurting business along Gulf beach communities?

According to a report by Bay News 9, many business owners are saying yes. 

Mike Dusel, who runs a wave runner/parasailing business in Johns Pass, told the news station that spring breakers are opting for warmer activities during the cold days.

"March and April are definitely one our busiest times," Dusel says. "The people are here, but the weather is really not conducive to go out in the water."
