Construction on Treasure Island Bike Lanes Begin Monday
The construction in Treasure Island is expected to last 90 days.

Starting Monday, Aug. 5 construction is set to begin on bike lanes along 104th Avenue between Gulf Boulevard and the Treasure Island Causeway in Treasure Island.Â
According to city documents, work will also take place on 108th Avenue North of the Treasure Island Causeway.
The city said construction is set to take 90 days, which will include widening an adding to the bike trail. Other improvements in the project include, median work, drainage improvements, curb and ramp improvements, asphalt paving, striping and new signage. Â
Construction crews will generally work between 7:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday - Friday, according to a news release.Â
