Dog Park Opens on St. Pete Beach

Dogs in St. Pete Beach have a new place to get outside, hang out and get some exercise. 

On July 10, the city of St. Pete Beach officially opened the McKenney Park Dog Park.  

The park is located at 9300 Blind Pass Rd. and took around four months to build. 

According to St. Pete Beach public services director Steve Hallock, the park construction was done entirely by city staff. 

The project, he said, was done for around $6,000.
