Once concrete delivery and placement begins again the city said residents could expect a similar schedule of detours (average of two per week). The detour will be the same as before, which is directing them to the Corey Causeway.

In late March, traffic shifted to the new section of the Bayway Bridge as crews began the demolition of the old Bayway Bridge.

The entire project is slated to be done by late summer 2014, according to the Florida Department of Transportation.
