Trinity Woman In Critical Condition After Accident On 44th St.

Jenna Hopkins, 24, of Trinity was crossing in the 11900 block of 44th Street North when she was struck. She remains in critical condition.

PINELLAS PARK, FL — Pinellas Park police are investigating an accident that seriously injured a pedestrian Wednesday morning.

According to police, at 11:35 a.m. Jenna Hopkins, 24, of Trinity was crossing in the 11900 block of 44th Street North.

Jeffery Fountain, 54, of Clearwater was driving a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 south on 44th Street North when he struck Hopkins.

She is listed in critical condition at the hospital.

Fountain, who remained at the scene and cooperated with police, said he didn't see Hopkins before striking her.
