Pinellas Reclaimed Water Restrictions Begin April 1

Residents in affected areas must reduce irrigation to three days per week.

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL – Pinellas County seasonal reclaimed water restrictions will begin Friday, April 1. These restrictions limit reclaimed water irrigation to certain hours during three days per week based on house number:

  • Addresses ending in an even number: Tuesday, Thursday and/or Saturday
  • Addresses ending in an odd number: Wednesday, Friday, and/or Sunday
  • Addresses with mixed or no addresses, such as common areas in a residential subdivision: Wednesday, Friday, and/or Sunday
  • Lawn irrigation is prohibited between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
  • Lawn irrigation is prohibited on Monday.

Restriction violations may result in a $193 fine.

The Pinellas County Utilities Department recommends its customers follow these restrictions throughout the year to promote a drought-tolerant, healthy lawn with deep roots. The restrictions are mandatory during Florida’s traditional dry seasons from April through June plus October and November.
