Even so, that’s a pretty sizeable chunk of change. After all is said and done with taxes, a winning Powerball ticket holder from Florida can expect a net payout of about $172,725,000, according to USAMega.com.
The odds of winning on a single ticket purchase is one in 175 million, according to the Huffington Post. But, are those odds discouraging you?
