Customer Punches Caddy's Employee, Claims She Had 'Bad Service'

A Tampa woman allegedly hit a bar employee with her purse before punching the woman in the face.

Danielle Evangeline Morris, 40, of Tampa, is accused of punching a Caddy's employee after claiming she had "bad service," according to a Pinellas County arrest records.

Morris, who, according to arrest records, is employed by a Tampa restaurant, was being escorted out of Caddy's Waterfront Bar in Treasure Island when she "struck the victim on her shoulder with her purse." The employee, also a woman, reached out to Morris when Morris then punched her in the chin, police say.

Morris tried to leave and was held down on the ground by valet personnel until officers arrived, according to reports.

Morris told officers she "had bad service and that was why she did what she did." According to reports, she was belligerent with officers.

Morris is charged with simple battery and disorderly conduct, both misdemeanors. She has since posted $650 bail for both charges.
