500 New Jobs Arriving In Plant City With CITY Furniture Showroom

PLANT CITY, FL — CITY Furniture will bring 500 new jobs to the Plant City area with its 1.2 million-square-foot showroom scheduled to open July 2022.

The new facility will be “LEED Certified” and feature the signature CITY Furniture amenities including the KC Wine Bar, CITY Marketplace and Mattress Gallery, the company said. The 160,000-square-foot showroom and 1 million square foot distribution center will also house the company’s regional corporate office.

"Our new Plant City showroom and warehouse facility is centrally located between Orlando and Tampa, with great frontage along I-4,"Ryan Cronin, senior vice president, said. "This new location is approximately 30 minutes from downtown Tampa, so it is easily accessible to customers in Hillsborough County and the surrounding markets. Plant City is a wonderful area, and we are extremely encouraged by the response we’ve received from the city’s leadership. CITY Furniture said it will partner with repeat construction partner ARCO National Construction to execute the construction of this project.
