Car With COVID-19 Vaccines Stolen From Plant City Fairgrounds

PLANT CITY, FL — A man is accused of stealing a car that had 30 vials of the COVID-19 vaccine at the Strawberry Festival grounds on Wednesday, Plant City Police said.

The suspect stole a gray 2018 Hyundai Accent with Florida tag NPJJ58, investigators said. It was taken at 3 p.m. from W. Reynolds Street. The vials were meant to be administered within Hillsborough County.
