Generation Fun Toy Store Now Open In Plant City

PLANT CITY, FL — Just in time for the holidays, the Generation Fun Toy Store, which features more than 20,000 comic books and a large selection of collectible toys, hosted its grand opening in Plant City Tuesday.

The store, located at 102 S. Evers St., offers comic and collectible toys for every generation including the state's largest collection of the Masters of The Universe series as well as Star Wars, Ninja Turtles, Funkos and Disney collectibles.

“I am incredibly honored and excited to be a part of the growing community,” said store owner Shawn Mayo. “My vision was to bring generations together with the common love of toys. We have everything from unique, hard-to-find collectibles from when I was a kid to popular brands that kids nowadays love to add to their own collections.

“I love seeing a father and son walk into my store and, while his son is excitedly picking out his new Kylo Ren lightsaber, his dad’s own inner child comes out as he swoons over our original At-At collectibles," Mayo."There is something for everyone and it goes beyond passion… toys make us happy.”

The Generation Fun Toy Store is the newest addition to Plant City’s historical downtown and the first vintage toy store in that area.
