Hillsborough County Agencies To Collect Unused Prescription Drugs
Hillsborough County law enforcement agencies are taking part in the Drug Enforcement Agency's National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day.

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL -- As part of its ongoing effort to crack down on illegal pill mills and prevent prescription drug abuse, Hillsborough County law enforcement agencies are taking part in the Drug Enforcement Agency's National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day.
On Saturday, Oct. 27, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, along with the Plant City Police Department, the Drug Enforcement Administration, University of South Florida Police Department, Tampa Police Department and the Hillsborough County Anti-Drug Alliance will collect unused or expired prescription medications from residents to prevent potentially dangerous drugs from getting into the wrong hands.
The unused prescription drugs will be collected at six locations from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
