Press release from Plant City Hoops:

July 7, 2020

A joint decision was made today by Plant City High School Basketball Coach Billy Teeden and the Plant City Parks & Recreation Department to cancel the youth basketball camp scheduled for July 13-16, 2020. Due to the rising positivity rate of COVID-19 testing throughout Florida and especially Hillsborough County, the cancelation was made out of an abundance of caution to help protect our youths and slow the possible spread of the virus. Parks & Recreation Director Jack Holland stated “While it is extremely disappointing to cancel this long-running camp, Coach Teeden felt it was in the best interest of the campers and our department fully supports this decision. Refunds will be processed for all participants and we look forward to hosting the camp again in 2021."
