Plant City Police Investigate Fatal Shooting

PLANT CITY, FL — Plant City Police are investigating a shooting that left a 24-year-old Lakeland man dead.

The shooting took place Wednesday at 9:25 p.m. at 1009 W. Washington St. When police arrived, they found Michael James Hector in the road with a gunshot wound in the chest. He died at the scene.
