Plant City Standoff Ends With No Injuries
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, in coordination with the Tampa Police Department, successfully ended a standoff with an armed man.

PLANT CITY, FL — The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, in coordination with the Tampa Police Department, successfully ended a standoff with a man in Plant City on Monday morning with no injuries.
Around 4 p.m. on Sunday, Tampa Police responded to a call of an aggravated assault on North Temple Avenue. The suspect, Jessie Rosas Brueckner, 28, fled the scene in a vehicle. Tampa Police Air Service tracked Brueckner to a home in the 5400 block of Doc Pricher Road In Plant City.
When deputies with the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office arrived at the home, Brueckner's relatives in the house came outside and told deputies Brueckner did not live there and showed up unannounced.

From 2 a.m. to 7 a.m. the HCSO Crisis Negotiation Team tried to talk with Brueckner and convince him to come out of the home. Brueckner refused to communicate with them or surrender. The HCSO SWAT Team eventually entered the home and found Brueckner hiding in the master bathroom where he was arrested.
Brueckner charges of aggravated assault with a firearm and felon in possession of a firearm. Additional charges are forthcoming.
