Plant City Teen Critical After Drive-By Shooting

A teen remains in critical condition after being shot in a church parking lot Saturday night.

PLANT CITY, FL — A teen remains in critical condition after being shot in a church parking lot Saturday night.

According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, around 8 p.m. Jan. 4, deputies responded to Mount Olive AME Church, 5100 Horton Road in Plant City, where they found two teens, one with a gunshot wound to the upper body.

The teens told deputies that they were fired on by someone in a white van.

The boy was transported to Lakeland Regional Hospital.
