Plant City Woman Killed Walking Across Interstate 4

PLANT CITY, FL — A 29-year-old Plant City woman has died after being struck by a pickup truck Wednesday on Interstate 4.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at 12:49 a.m., Neal Brent Flynn, 68, of Tampa, was driving a Ram 1500 pickup truck east on Interstate 4 when Zenaida Edith Lucena walked into the path of the truck.

Lucena was last seen standing by a light-colored sedan on the shoulder of the highway. Although foul play is not suspected, anyone with information about the accident is asked to call the FHP at 813-558-1800.
