Plant City's 4th Of July Fireworks: 2019 Guide
Patch has your complete guide to Fourth of July fireworks shows, parades and other festive events in and around Plant City.

PLANT CITY, FL — Plant City will celebrate the red, white and blue during its Fourth of July celebration Thursday, July 4, at Plant City Stadium, 1810 E. Park Road.
With a 50/50 chance of rain and the unpredictability of weather in Florida in July, to be on the safe side, you'd better bring an umbrella if you're heading out to celebrate. Patch will provide update on any severe thunderstorms and event cancellations.

This is the 14th year for the festivities. The inaugural event took place in 2002 but was suspended in 2008 due to lack of funding. The city revived the celebration in 2012.
The family-friendly, alcohol-free event will get underway at 6 p.m. with food vendors, face painting, a corn hole tournament, balloon art, inflatables, a rock wall and a bungee jumper.

Additionally, there will be live music on the stage starting at 7 p.m.
The event will culminate with a military salute and the National Anthem at 9 p.m. followed by a fireworks show by Zambelli Fireworks at 9:15 p.m.
Just in case, a rain date for the fireworks show only is scheduled for Friday, July 5.
The parking lot at the stadium will open at 5:45 p.m.
No outside food or drinks, pets, smoking, sparklers or alcohol will be permitted.
The event is free. Parking is $5 per car.
