Sheriff Seeks Hit-And-Run Driver In Plant City

PLANT CITY, FL — The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help to find a hit-and-run driver.

On Friday, Aug. 9, around 11 p.m., a 63-year-old man walking south on the east side of North Forbes Road in Plant City, just south of U.S. 92, was struck and killed by a vehicle traveling north.

Witnesses described seeing a dark-colored pickup truck leaving the scene shortly after the crash. It is unclear at this time if the driver of the truck pictured was involved in the crash. Detectives are working to locate and talk to the driver in hopes of getting information.
