Stolen Truck Containing Cremated Remains Of Daughter Found

PLANT CITY, FL — A stolen pickup truck containing an urn with the cremated ashes of the truck owner's daughter has been recovered.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said the gray 2014 Ford F150 crew cab pickup truck was stolen between 11 p.m. Sept. 7 and 8 a.m. Sept. 8 from the parking lot of the Staybridge Suites, 3624 Falkenburg Road N.

The owner was desperate to retrieve the truck because the urn containing his daughter's ashes was inside the truck. Deputies said the urn was found undisturbed in the truck.
