2017 Safety Harbor SongFest Adds More Than Just Music

The two-day festival will feature food, art and other entertainment along with live concerts throughout the weekend.

SAFETY HARBOR, FL – Spring is in the air, and that means music can be heard around the Tampa Bay area. Safety Harbor is no different, with its annual SongFest set to kick off this weekend.

The two-day event is set to take place on Saturday, April 1 and Sunday, April 2 at Safety Harbor Waterfront Park, 110 veterans Memorial Lane in Safety Harbor. This year, aside from 20 national touring artists performing on two stages, Safety Harbor SongFest will also feature food trucks, a wine/art lounge, craft beer, circus performers, hoola hoop and bubble ball interactive fun, henna tattoos, face painting, live art demonstrations, interactive poetry with Bluebird bus, kite demonstrations and the Nomad Art Bus that invites attendees to paint it.

SongFest was created by the Safety Harbor Music and Art Center, whose mission is to promote education in fine art, visual arts and performing arts.
