4 Metro PCS Stores Struck in Serial Robbery Spree
Police are looking for help identifying the suspect they say has struck four cell phone stores in the last few days.

The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office is looking for some help identifying the man it says is responsible for four armed burglaries at Pinellas County Metro PCS stores over the past few days.
The spree began with two armed robberies Aug. 30. A third robbery took place Sept. 2 with the most latest hit on Thursday afternoon.

- 1363 Main St. in Dunedin
- 7700 U.S. 19 N. in Pinellas Park
- 6581 102nd Ave. in Pinellas Park
- 3665 East Bay Drive in unincorporated Largo
All four robberies took place in the late afternoon hours. While the man in each produced a gun, no injuries have been reported.
The suspect is described as a black man with a slim build. He stands between 6 feet, 3 inches and 6 feet, 4 inches in height. During the first two robberies, who wore dark pants, a red-and-white plaid shirt and had a red bandana covering his face. He also wore sunglasses and a ball cap. In the third robbery, the man wore white pants, a light gray shirt, a ball cap and sunglasses. In Thursday’s robbery, he was wearing a light colored ball cap, a plaid shirt, blue jeans and sunglasses.
