Four High-End Rental Homes in Safety Harbor

It's not easy to buy a home since the real estate crash. There are more hurdles to clear in securing a mortgage. Plus there's the worry that the economy may tank again.

1.) 304 Parkside Lane: This two-bedroom, two-bath home has a little more than 1,000 square feet of space. It is described as a furnished villa – "a place you'll be proud to rent." Rent includes trash, basic cable, grounds maintenance, pool, outside irrigation and termite treatment. Not bad. $1,150 per month.

2.) 3044 Tall Pine Dr.:  At three bedrooms and two baths, this home has 2,000 square feet of space. It is described as "pet friendly" and in a highly desirable area of Safety Harbor. The upgraded kitchen has stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops. $1,950 per month.

3.) 536 5th Ave North: This four-bedroom, three-bath house boasts plenty of space and a Key West style. The owner of this property notes it was lived in for only two years and has newer construction. There is a formal living room, family room and groumet kitchen. The upstairs master bedroom suite has a private balcony. What a sweet deal. No smokers, please. $1,835 per month.

4.) 2035 Philippe Pkwy.: This is the only condo we listed, but it seems to offer the renter a little more than the run-of-the-mill unit. If you're active and enjoy a healthy lifestyle, this could be the place for you. The two-bedrom, two-bath condo is in a community with two swimming pools, a tennis court, weight room, clubhouse and lake with picnic area. Downtown is just minutes away. Up to two small pets are allowed (with a fee). $800 per month.
