Lightning Strike May Have Caused Palm Harbor Fire
The blaze broke out Friday afternoon.

Lightning may be to blame for a Friday fire that engulfed a Palm Harbor home.
Pinellas County Sheriff’s deputies say they responded to the fire around 1:06 p.m. When they arrived, the roof was “engulfed in flames,” an email to media said.
Palm Harbor, Safety Harbor and East Lake fire rescue units were all called in to put out flames at 758 Timuquana Lane, the email said. A woman and her son were able to get out of the home, and no injuries were reported.
