Primavera Music Festival Celebrates Music, Easter
The Safety Harbor event will benefit Project Primavera, which creates mentors for children across the country.

SAFETY HARBOR, FL – Spring is in the air, and soon, the air will be filled with music and Easter eggs in northern Pinellas County.
The Primavera Music Festival is set to take place Saturday, April 8 from 2 to 10 p.m. at Waterfront Park, 110 Veterans Memorial Lane in Safety Harbor. The event features four musical acts, including Tampa Bay-area favorites The Black Honkeys, food trucks, fireworks, and Florida’s largest Easter egg drop.
The event is being put on by Project Primavera, a non-profit organization that uses all its profits and proceeds to create mentors for orphans and at-risk children around the world.

The gates open to the Primavera Music Festival at 2 p.m., and the Easter egg drop at 3 p.m. at Marina South. Two helicopters will drop 45,000 plastic eggs with 100 volunteers on-hand to help keep the event safe. The field will be divided into two sections: one for children 2 years old through kindergarten students and the other for first through fifth graders.
The music festival begins at 3:30 p.m., with the following acts scheduled to perform on the main stage:

- 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. – Soul Circus Cowboys
- 4:50 to 5:50 p.m. – Have Gun Will Travel
- 6:20 to 7:30 p.m. – The Black Honkeys
- 8 to 9 p.m. – Ethan Parker
After the music acts end, the Primavera Music Festival will end with a fireworks display that can be viewed from anywhere in the park.
Several area food trucks are scheduled to attend the festival: Hott Butts BBQ, Dochos Latin Bistro, Fishin’ Chicken, Roaming Gourmand, I Wanna Wok, Jimmy’s Slider Truck, The Cheesesteak Truck, Wood Fired Pizza & BBQ and Maggie on the Move.
The festival also features a Kid’s Zone, which will be open from the start. The Kid’s Zone features the Tampa Bay Buccaneers pirate ship bounce house, a 36-foot inflatable space shuttle slide, the Spider Mountain maze of webs and The Ultimate Petting Zone.
General admission to the Primavera Music Festival is free. A premium ticket to the event is $25 and features access to the reserved premium seating area and front row Main Stage access. The $100 VIP Package also includes an exclusive VIP hangout, private bathrooms and catered food.
