Public Asked to Help Identify Kohl's Jewelry Thief
A six-foot tall, white man with a slender build and a partial beard that lines his jaw bone was seen near the jewelry cases around 11:30 a.m. July 23.
Investigators are asking the public for help to identify a suspect who took two necklaces from a display case and left a Kohl's department store near Countryside Mall.
A six-foot tall, white man with a slender build and a partial beard that lines his jaw bone was seen near the jewelry cases around 11:30 a.m. July 23Â at the Kohl's at 2514 State Road 580, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.
The suspect asked the clerk to look at a couple of necklaces that were locked in the display case, according to investigators. The clerk turned away for a moment and the suspect left the story with the jewelry, according to officials.
The suspect has a tattoo on his right forearm and was last seen leaving the parking lot in a dark colored, late 1990's or early 2000's model Toyota 4Runner with tinted windows, running boards and metal front and rear bumpers.
