Re: Trump, Wrong but not Sorry!
OK, I admit it. I was wrong and caught by surprise but in a good way regarding Trump.
What I saw yesterday on the 45th sorrowful anniversary of Roe v Wade, made me very thankful for President Trump. With the staggering numbers of over 60 million dead babies, the president’s message was a heartfelt one of hope. The difference between this administration and the previous could not be more striking! Below is part of his message:

Truly our nation was at stake as the heated primary campaign rolled on. To my great dismay and disappointment, the final choice came down to Trump or Clinton. Extreme leftist, crooked Hillary would never be my choice. That left Donald Trump! Crude and boastful, his style was not the charming, courageous and principled candidate I had hoped for. In end on voting day I could not bring myself to vote for him. I left the presidential slot blank. It was inconsequential since Hillary beat Trump by 30 percentage points in California.

On his way to the White House, I did notice a few glimpses of hope. Trump’s VP choice of Mike Pence was excellent. His list of potential Supreme Court Justices had solid conservatives and strict constructionists. Also, a few trustworthy friends strongly backed him as one that could win and keep his promises. I happily congratulate them as being right!
These are 3 main reasons have changed my view of Trump:
To begin, in just his first year he has many accomplishments. Starting with the pro-life agenda and to name a few; he has reinstated the Mexico City Policy, defunded the UN Population Fund, and reversed the Obama regulation regarding Title X funding. Next, he has unleashed the economy by cutting regulations, opening our access to natural resources like oil, natural gas and coal and the tax reform bill. The result is a booming economy, record high stock markets, high employment and low unemployment to mention some. On the foreign scene, Isis is on the run, and he stood with Israel in recognizing Jerusalem as the capital. Foreign governments have a new respect for the US as we now have a no nonsense president who loves his country without apology,
Secondly, tough Trump is helping Republican leaders grow a backbone. Uncharacteristically, for instance in the Senate, Republican leaders changed the rules to confirm Supreme Court Justice, Neil Gorsuch with simple majority vote. They stood strong enough to pass the first tax reform bill in more than 30 years without a single Democrat vote. In the past couple days, they refused to cave to the Democrats and hounding media, instead pushing back thus forcing the Democrats to shut the government down and blink.
Lastly, Trump’s unconventional ability to take on and make insane the media, leftists and Democrats is unbelievable! One of the best examples of the unhinged media were the questions they asked president’s doctor, Dr. Ronny Jackson. They included how much time does the president spend on the golf course or does he watch too much TV? Has his ice cream intake been limited to one scoop? Not believing Trumps weight at 239 pounds, would he prove it on a scale in public, and after even learning Trump passed the cognitive test with 100% they kept asking if the president is crazy, has dementia or Alzheimer’s.
After the Trump victory, leftists not only went berserk in the streets rioting violently but they also organized scream ins at the moon. Then the Women’s March gathered in most vulgar attire, nasty signs, praising abortion, Planned Parenthood and in general, disgusting people of decency and class.
Lastly, Democrat Minority Leader, Nancy Pelosi demonstrated how she has lost it by calling $1000 bonuses “crumbs”!
Overall Trump has exceeded my expectations. Do I agree with everything he says, tweets or does? No and I will not hesitate to criticize or praise as appropriate. I was wrong, and I am thankful as I applaud President Trump in keeping his promises to the American people.
