Safety Harbor Museum & Cultural Center Remembers Florida's Fallen

SAFETY HARBOR, FL -- As Memorial Day approaches, the Safety Harbor Museum and Cultural Center, 329 Bayshore Blvd., is paying tribute to the men and women from Florida who have lost their lives defending their country.
The museum is currently hosting the Remembering Florida’s Fallen Exhibit, a 100-foot-long, 9-foot high piece that remembers the fallen members of the U.S. Armed Forces from Florida. This exhibit runs until May 21.
"The exhibit is very moving, and we are honored to have it here in Safety Harbor," said museum spokeswoman Christine McWilliams. "The exhibit is a beautiful way to remember Florida's Fallen. There is even a soldier whose home of record was Safety Harbor at the time of his death: Jonathan Rossi, killed in action July 1, 2007."
