Safety Harbor Woman Charged With Passing Bad Checks
Nicole Shantele Purser was arrested and charged with two felonies last week in connection with an early July incident.

A Safety Harbor woman is accused of passing bad checks at local Walgreens and Sweetbay stores, according to authorities.
According to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, Nicole Shantele Purser stole two checks and attempted to cash them at local stores July 5.
Authorities say Purser, who lives in the Yorktown at Beacon Place apartment complex, took two checks from a victim's residence and forged her signature on them; she then cashed the checks at local Walgreens and Sweetbay stores.Â
According to the sheriff's report, the checks were written in the amounts of $515.81 and $218.41.
After being question by sheriff's deputies, Purser, 33, admitted to forging her name and cashing the checks.
Purser was arrested on July 24 and charged with uttering forged bills/checks and grand theft, both felonies.
Jail records show she was released on her own recognizance on July 25.
